Who we are: 

With our new life in Italy we have made a dream come true, our dream of once again doing something completely different from what we did in the past and of living in the country of our longing, with its beauty, its immense treasure of culture, its charming people. After looking at innumerous houses, we finally found ours with its marvelous property, with its huge oaks and the little enchanting lake. We then started renovating and refurbishing, designed the apartments for our guests and cultivated the huge garden. We call our house “Adagio” (= slowly, gently), since one of our aims by moving here was to try and change the character of our former lives: Ingelis Gnutzmann, the tv-journalist, who shot documentaries in Jordan, the USA, in Irak; and Ekkes Frank, author and singer-songwriter, who used to travel all of Germany with his programs. Today we feel more at ease, living a slower rhythm of life, enjoying the magnificent nature all around the Adagio and the enriching talks with our guests.
